Let me take you on a little detour through my not-so-average journey here.

 

After leaving school, I leaped into Financial Planning, where I quickly discovered that managing other people’s money wasn’t nearly as fun as spending it. Realising I was too young for such a serious gig, I packed my bags with a one way ticket and embarked on an adventure.

Picture this: two glorious years soaking up the sun on Hayman Island, followed by another two years basking in the hustle and bustle of London and exploring Europe and the US. 

​

Upon my return to Sydney, I found myself in a well-respected banking institution as a Marketing Manager for Self Managed Super Funds. Let me tell you, if I thought the world of finance was dull, this was like watching paint dry, very lucrative paint, mind you, but still painfully uninspired! The salary was nice, but my creative spirit was gasping for air.

Determined to revitalise my creative spark, I took the plunge and enrolled at Billy Blue College of Design, I discovered advertising and fell in love with creative problem solving. Fast forward 12 years, and I’m a Lead Creative Tinker at Thinkerbell (or as the Industry would say, Senior Art Director).


I’ve been lucky enough to work with some pretty amazing clients, both local and global brands, and snagged some nice awards along the way.

What fuels me every day? Ideas that shape culture and actually make a difference to the world, making people feel something is a bonus. 

​

Oh, and plot twist... I’ve recently relocated to Singapore with my husband and our Cavoodle, Billy. I’m diving into new experiences and am all ears for freelance gigs, whether they’re nearby or worlds away. If the work is interesting, i'm interested.
